What is CuePilot?
CuePilot is a Windows desktop app that listens to your call, transcribes it live, spots each question and streams a concise answer into a small overlay, grounded in your resume, the job description and your project notes. It can also read screenshots of coding problems or shared documents.
Why do I need my own OpenRouter API key?
Our price pays for the software only. The AI runs on your own OpenRouter key, so you pay OpenRouter directly at their rates with no markup from us, and you choose the models. Create a free account at openrouter.ai, add credits, create an API key and paste it into CuePilot's Settings.
How much will OpenRouter cost me?
It depends on the models you pick and how much you use them. Faster, cheaper models work well for live answers, and stronger models are best for screenshots. OpenRouter works on prepaid credits, so you can never spend more than you load, and you can set a spending limit on the key.
Is my data private?
The app sends audio and screenshots only to OpenRouter (and to Deepgram, if you add a Deepgram key) using your own key. Nothing passes through our servers. Your resume, notes and settings are stored on your computer. Our website only knows your account, your purchases and your computer's hardware ID.
Does the overlay show up when I share my screen?
On Windows 10 (version 2004) or later, the overlay is excluded from screen capture, so it does not appear in screen shares or recordings of your screen. You can also hide it instantly with Ctrl+Alt+H and make it click-through with Ctrl+Shift+Space.
Which computers does it work on?
Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). macOS is not supported yet. Each license is locked to one computer through its hardware ID, which the app shows on first launch.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Licenses are tied to one computer, so email support@example.com with your new hardware ID and we will issue the license for your new computer.
Is it a subscription? Will I be charged again?
No. Each plan is a one-time payment for 7 days, a month or a year. Nothing renews automatically: when it ends, you simply buy another period if you need it. Your settings are kept.
How do I pay?
Securely through Cashfree: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. Prices are in rupees and include taxes. Have a coupon? Enter it at checkout.
Does it work offline?
Your license is checked on your computer, with no internet needed. Live transcription and answers do need an internet connection, because they run on OpenRouter.
Can I use it for meetings and sales calls too?
Yes. It works with any conversation playing on your computer: interviews, client and sales calls, demos and presentations. Add the context you need, such as product notes or a call brief, and the answers will use it.
